a. Ladakh- Jammu and Kashmir:

“Land of the High Passes” is the literal translation of Ladakh, a region located in Jammu and Kashmir.Leh Hills  Considered to be “the most sparsely populated area” in the state, this scenic hilly area extends from the Kunlun mountain range to the Himalayas. Located alongside the banks of River Ravi is a scenic hill station in Himachal Pradesh known as Chamba. Chamba Hills  Surrounded by beautiful mountains, this picturesque town is elevated at an altitude of 3,268 feet above sea level.
