Nestled high up in the Western Ghat at 3002 feet above sea level in “God’s own land” i.e. Kerala is a scenic hill station called Peermade. This hill station was apparently named after as Sufi saint called “Peer Mohammed”. It is famous for its beautiful waterfalls, open meadows, and pine forests. Alternatively, it is also popular for its lush green tea, coffee, cardamom, and coconut plantations. The local cuisine available here is typically “Malayalee” with coconut being used as a major ingredient in food. There are a few restaurants available in this region.
