In the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala nestled high up on the Western Ghat at an altitude of 6,129 feet above sea level is a beautiful peak called “Agastya Mala”. This peak is also known as Agasthyarkoodam. It is situated in close proximity to the Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is also popular for being a renowned Hindu pilgrimage centre dedicated to a sage called “Agastya”. As for food since this is a peak there are few restaurants available in and around this region.
