In the Shimoga district in Karnataka, there is a small village called “Agumbe”. This village is a popular tourist destination and is renowned for trekking and photography due to the beautiful landscape it possesses. It is also known to receive maximum rainfall during monsoons. It is also the region where promotion of cottage industry is undertaken on a large scale. The food available in this small hamlet is quite limited and basically consists of simple Udupi food.
