Elevated at the height of 1267 meters in the Panchkula district in Haryana is a scenic hamlet called Morni.  This village is located at a distance of 45 kilometres away from Chandigarh and, 35 kilometres from Panchkula city. This village is supposed to possess the ideal landscape for trekkers and rock climbers. This region is also popular for the variety of birds and animals it possesses. The name of this hamlet has been derived from a queen named “Morni” who once ruled this area. There are a few restaurants that are available in and around Morni Hills.
