Nandi Hills are also known as “Nandidurg or Nandydroog” is a scenic hill station located in the Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka. It is elevated at an altitude of 1,478 meters above sea level and is located at about 60 km from Bengaluru city. This hill station once served as summer resort for the King of Mysore “Tipu Sultan”. It is also renowned for its rich flora and fauna. And is an ideal tourist hotspot for adventure sports such as cycling and paragliding. As for food, local cuisine such as dosa, Bisi Bele Bath, Akki Roti, Jolada Roti, Idli, Vada, Sambhar etc are very popular in this region.
