Badrinath is a popular tourist destination of religious significance located in the Chamoli district in Uttarakhand. It is considered to be the most important among the four sites that are included in the Char Dham pilgrimage. It was during the 9th century that Adi Shankara re-established this town as a major Hindu pilgrimage site. With regards to food, this town does not really possess any unique cuisine.
