Cuisine And Restaurant – Nainital Hills

In Uttarakhand, there is a scenic and tranquil hill station called Nainital. It is elevated at an altitude of 2,084 meters above sea level. Now the cuisine in Uttarakhand is based on coarse grains with high fiber content. And so delicacies such as Dal Makhani are quite popular in Nainital. Local food such as Ras (a dish made of several types of dal), Baadi, Bhatt ki Churkani etc is also quite popular. Other types of cuisine such as Chinese, Continental, Italian, Thai, Tibetan etc are also very popular. There are many restaurants found in Nainital since it is a major tourist attraction in the state. A few popular restaurants are as follows:
