If you want to drive to Hazaribagh then, the best place to start your journey would be from Ranchi which is located at a distance of 91 km via the NH-20 route. This route includes Mesra, Dardag, Ramgarh, Morangi, and finally Hazaribagh. In addition, this route is inclusive of tolls.

The summer in Hazaribagh which begins in March and ends in May is extremely hot with the temperature ranging from a maximum of 34 degree Celsius to a minimum of 28 degree Celsius. The rainfall received during the monsoons which begins in June and ends in September is generally “heavy”. The winter which arrives in December and departs in February is extremely pleasant with the average temperature of 15 degree Celsius being recorded. - Kandaver Temple
The Kandaver Temple is located in this hill station, and is dedicated to Goddess Siddhidatri or AshtabhujiDurga. It is renowned for its serene atmosphere. In addition, it is surrounded by beautiful dense forests that provides for picturesque views, and thereby add more charm to the temple complex.
- Bhadrakali Temple
The Bhadrakali Temple is considered to be a 400-year-old temple, and is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, a form of Devi. It is located at the confluence of the River Vaksha and River Mahane, and is frequently visited by large number tourists.
- Hazaribagh National Park
The Hazaribagh National Park is a major tourist attraction in this hill station. This National Park is spread over an area of 186 square kilometers, and comprises of exotic wildlife such as Sambhar, Nilgai, Chital, Kakar, Sloth Bear and Wild Boar. - Rajrappa Pilgrimage site
The Rajrappa Pilgrimage site is located at the confluence of River Damodar and River Bhera. This site is popular for being home to a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Chhinnamastka. In addition, this temple also consists of the idols of Lord Hanuman, Maa Kali and Ashtdhari.
