On the banks of the beautiful Jhelum River lies the city of “Srinagar” located in the state also referred to as “Paradise on earth” i.e. Kashmir. In Sanskrit Srinagar literally, means “the city of wealth and abundance”. This city is famous for its beautiful gardens, waterfronts,  houseboats, and boats known as  “Shikaras”.
