These Indian Hill stations Are Ideal For Rejuvenation

“The action or process of making someone feel more younger, better, or vital” is what the word Rejuvenation actually means. Now, in a culturally diverse country such as India there exists a number of tourist destinations which may prove to be ideal “Rejuvenation Spots”. So, here is presenting a list of “5 picturesque Indian hill stations” which when visited prove to be ideal “havens”, wherein you can rejuvenate in presence of mind-blowing scenic beauty.

a. Tawang- Arunachal Pradesh:

Historically speaking, an extremely scenic hill station located in Arunachal Pradesh known as Tawang is supposed to have been a part of Tibet. Elevated at an altitude of 2669 meters above sea level, it is known for a popular Buddhist monastery. It is also renowned for its picturesque surroundings, and beautiful temperate climate. Furthermore, it was at this hill station that the 14th Dalai Lama took refuge for a few days, after escaping Tibet in order to avoid being held in clutches by the invading Chinese army in 1959. It is therefore, the presence of a beautiful pristine and serene atmosphere along with a rich “spiritual” culture which makes Tawang, one among a few “Rejuvenation Spots” in India truly worth visiting.

b. Coonoor- Tamil Nadu:

“Nilgiri Tea production” is what a quaint hill station known as Coonoor located in Tamil Nadu is renowned for. Situated at an altitude of above 1850 meters above sea level, it is popular for its picturesque tea plantations. Furthermore, this hill station is also known for a spot known as “Sim’s Park”, which possesses about 1000 species belonging to the plant kingdom. Historically speaking, a fort called “Droog” used once upon a time by Tipu Sultan is located in close proximity (about 13 km) to this hill station. And so, it is the overall scenic beauty as well as the historical significance which makes Coonoor, one among a few “Rejuvenation Spots” in India that must be visited.

c. Pelling- Sikkim:

“Freddie” is the name of the man who discovered a picturesque hill station called Pelling and located in Sikkim.      Nestled high up at an altitude of 2150 meters above sea level, it is known for its beautiful landscape. Some popular spots at this beautiful hill station include monasteries, waterfalls, and a rock garden. In addition, it is also surrounded by picturesque scenic beauty which comprises of alphine vegetation. It is thus a combination of beautiful landscape and scenic atmosphere which makes Pelling, one among a few ideal “Rejuvenation Spots” in India that must be explored.

d. Haflong- Assam:

“Switzerland of the northeast” is the sobriquet  given to a beautiful hill station known as Haflong, which is located in Assam. Situated at altitude of about 966.216 meters above sea level, it is renowned for its beautiful landscapes which includes rivers and variety of beautiful flowers. In addition, this hill station is also popular activities  such as paragliding, trekking, and boating. It is thus the scenic beauty of the landscape which makes Haflong, one among a few “Rejuvenation Spots” in India which is worth visiting.

e. Mcleodgunj- Himachal Pradesh:

“Little Lhasa” is how a scenic hill station in Himachal Pradesh known as Mcleodgunj is referred to as. Elevated at an altitude of 2082 meters above sea level, it is “home” to the in exile Tibetan government. Furthermore, this beautiful hill station is surrounded by a majestic landscape which includes the the magnificent views of the Dhualadhar Range. It is therefore the presence of a serene and pristine environment which makes Mcleodgunj,  one among a few “Rejuvenation Spots” in India worth exploring.
