Kufri which is derived from the word “Kufri” which means lake (according to the local Pahari language) is a scenic hill station located in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. This hill station is located at a distance of approximately 13 km away from Shimla on National Highway No 22. It is popular for being a “trekker’s paradise” due to the presence of a number of perfect trekking tracks. As for food, unfortunately, Kufri is not well known for its cuisines. Yet there are few restaurants in this hill station. A few popular ones are as follows.
